Shipping & Refunds

1. Shipping destinations

We ship only to addresses within the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia.

We do not ship to:

• U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands, Northern Mariana Islands).
• APO, FPO, and DPO addresses.
• International destinations.
• Freight forwarders or third-party reshipping services.
• Post-office boxes for shipments requiring signature confirmation.

2. Carriers and methods

We ship via UPS, FedEx, and USPS. Insulated packaging and gel packs are used where appropriate at no additional charge. You will receive a tracking number by email and inside your Researcher Account once the carrier picks up your shipment.

3. Delivery times

• Standard ground: 2–7 business days
• Expedited: 1–3 business days
• Overnight: next business day

These are estimates, not guarantees.

4. Signature on delivery

Certain shipments require an adult signature (21+) on delivery. If no eligible recipient is available, the carrier will follow its standard re-delivery process. Re-shipping after a returned shipment will incur a new shipping charge.

5. Risk of loss

Risk of loss and title pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. Once a package is in the carrier's possession, the risk shifts to the recipient unless explicitly covered by Shipping Protection.

6. Shipping Protection

A Shipping Protection option is offered at checkout. It is a service warranty / replacement promise by Skinny Research Labs — not an insurance product. When elected, Skinny Research Labs will, at its own cost and up to the value of the affected order, repair the loss by re-shipping the affected items or refunding their value where:

• The carrier confirms the package was not delivered.
• The package was visibly damaged in transit and the contents are unusable.
• The carrier marked the package “delivered” but the recipient cannot locate it after a reasonable search and the search and notification timelines below are met.

Shipping Protection is a per-order fee. It is opt-in at checkout.

7. Damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments

If your shipment arrives damaged, is missing items, contains an incorrect item, or appears as “delivered” by the carrier but you cannot locate it after a reasonable search, notify us within forty-eight (48) hours of the carrier's recorded delivery event by emailing support@skinnyresearchlabs.com with:

1. Your order number.
2. A description of the issue.
3. Clear photographs of the package exterior, the inner packaging, and the affected items where applicable.
4. The packing slip if available.

We will review the claim, verify with the carrier, and at our sole discretion either:

1. Re-ship the missing or damaged item(s) at our cost; or
2. Issue a refund for the affected item(s) to the original payment method; or
3. Decline the claim if the evidence does not support the reported issue.

We will respond within five (5) business days. The remedies in this Section 7 are the sole and exclusive remedies available to a researcher for any issue arising out of a Skinny Research Labs shipment.

8. All sales final — no returns

Because the Products we sell are research compounds with strict chain-of-custody, biosafety, and storage-stability requirements, all sales are final. Once a shipment leaves our facility, we do not accept returns of any kind.

Specifically:

• We do not accept returns for change of mind, over-order, researcher no longer needing the Product, order placed under the wrong account, delivery address entered incorrectly by the researcher, or any similar reason.
• We do not accept returns for expired or near-expiration Product when within the labeled stability window at the time of shipment.
• We do not accept returns for degradation resulting from storage conditions after delivery.

The narrow exceptions for damaged, missing, incorrect, or carrier-lost shipments are handled exclusively under Section 7 (which does not require the researcher to physically ship the Product back).

9. Refunds

Refunds, when granted under Section 7 or Section 10, are issued to the original payment method within ten (10) business days of approval.

Refunds do not include any Shipping Protection fee, original shipping fee, or transaction-processing fee, unless the entire order is refunded as a direct result of Skinny Research Labs' error.

10. Order cancellation

You may request cancellation of an order before the shipment leaves our facility. Email support@skinnyresearchlabs.com immediately. Once the carrier has picked up your shipment, the order is final and cannot be cancelled.

11. Storage on arrival

Compounds we ship have temperature, light, and moisture stability characteristics described on the COA and SDS. Upon delivery you are responsible for inspecting the shipment promptly, transferring to recommended storage (typically refrigerated 2–8 °C or frozen −20 °C), and maintaining chain-of-custody documentation.

12. Refused shipments

If a shipment is refused at delivery and returned to us, we will refund the order amount less the original shipping cost, less any return-to-sender carrier fees, and less any Shipping Protection fee paid.

13. Pricing errors

In the event of a pricing or typographical error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.
