1. What is Skinny Research Labs?

Skinny Research Labs is a U.S.-based research-supply company providing HPLC-verified peptides and ancillary research compounds to qualified researchers and registered facilities. Every product we sell is intended for in-vitro laboratory research only. Our customers are universities, biotechnology companies, contract research organizations, industrial labs, and independent researchers conducting legitimate bench science.

2. Why do I see disclaimers everywhere on this site?

Because the FDA, the courts, and our own legal counsel agree that research-use-only compounds must be clearly labeled, clearly marketed, and clearly sold for research-only purposes — not for human or animal consumption. Repeating the "research use only" notice on the homepage, every product page, the cart, the checkout, the order confirmation email, and the shipping label is not redundancy. It is the standard of conduct.

3. Where does Skinny Research Labs ship?

We ship only to addresses within the fifty United States and the District of Columbia. We do not ship internationally, to U.S. territories, to APO/FPO addresses, or to freight forwarders.

4. What is a research-supply company?

A research-supply company sells reagents to researchers — universities, CROs, biotech firms — for use in laboratory experiments. The compound is identified by its chemistry (sequence, molecular family, receptor target) and shipped with a Certificate of Analysis. The researcher uses it in-vitro: in test tubes, cell culture, on the bench. Skinny Research Labs is a research-supply company. We are not a pharmacy, a clinic, a supplement vendor, or a wellness brand.

5. Are these products FDA-approved?

No. The compounds we sell have not been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for any use involving administration to humans or animals. Statements made on this site have not been evaluated by the FDA. No product offered here is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

6. What is in each vial?

Most peptides are supplied in borosilicate-glass vials with crimp-sealed butyl-rubber stoppers, containing the lyophilized (freeze-dried) compound. Fill mass options are listed on each product page; specific availability per compound is shown on the catalog and in the product specifications.

7. What is a COA?

A Certificate of Analysis. It is a document we ship with every order that discloses, for the specific lot you received: HPLC purity verification, mass-spectrometry confirmation, peptide content, and lot date. The COA — not the catalog name on the vial — is the authoritative identification of the molecule.

Shipping and delivery

8. How fast is shipping?

Standard ground: 2–7 business days. Expedited: 1–3 business days. Overnight: next business day. Estimates only — carrier delays, weather, and holidays may extend them.

9. What if my package goes missing?

Check with neighbors, your building reception, and the carrier's full tracking detail. If after 24 hours the package is still missing and you elected Shipping Protection at checkout, email support@skinnyresearchlabs.com within 48 hours of the “delivered” event with your order number and the carrier tracking number. We will work with the carrier and re-ship at our cost where the claim is supported.

10. Can I cancel or change my order?

Email support@skinnyresearchlabs.com immediately with your order number. If the order has not yet shipped, we can cancel at no charge. If it has shipped, contact the carrier directly for delivery intercept.

Returns & refunds

11. Do you accept returns?

No. All sales are final. Because the compounds we ship have strict chain-of-custody, biosafety, and storage-stability requirements, we cannot accept physical returns. Damaged, lost, or incorrect shipments are handled under our Shipping & Refunds policy as company-issued replacement or refund — not as a return.

12. What is Shipping Protection?

An optional opt-in service warranty offered at checkout. When elected, it covers loss in transit, damage in transit, and carrier-reported “delivered but not received” scenarios. It is not an insurance product — it is a Skinny Research Labs replacement promise.
